Our Favorite Family Friendly Games

As you may have read in this post, we love family game time to build connection with our children, especially before bed.  Here is a list of our favorite games.  We love games that our 3 year old can easily understand and play (either on someone’s team or with some help but on his own).

To be fair, we own (and love) many different Uno versions, but as Disney super-fans, we love this version the most!  Plus it has a Magic Mickey card with a special rule that really amps the kids up!

Like Uno, we have many versions of this game and love them all, but the classic remains the most chosen.  Sometimes we battle head to head and sometimes we create teams. Either way, it gets pretty rowdy around here during this game!

Like Bingo only way cooler (and much easier for the kids to understand).  If this is on the table for game night, it’s usually the last game we play.  We play both sides and then it’s bedtime. I even made up a rhyme… “green then red then time for bed” which the kids chant over and over.

I have to credit my parents for this one.  I never knew this game existed, but the kids love it and it’s become a fun one to play when we do nighttime routine at their house.

Who doesn’t love all of these things? And who wouldn’t love chanting them over and over?! This has become a favorite of the kids (and maybe the adults, too *wink*) after my brother introduced it to us.
