LIFE: PARTY OF 5

Navigating life

one day at a time.

Doing life is hard enough, we shouldn’t have to do it alone.  This is a space where everyone is welcome to share in the ups and downs and in betweens of life.   And why not find some easier ways to do all the things in the meantime?

I have been riding the struggle bus of postpartum anxiety and depression for years now. Add to that a diagnosis of ADHD (which I hid for a looong time) and I’ve got myself quite the messy parenting journey.

But with the help of my amazing husband, family, doctors, and my own trials and errors, I can finally see the light!  I realize not everyone has the support I’ve had, so I hope that this space can help others on their own journeys.

I hope you find some valuable information here, some great tips, and of course some laughs!  I will do my best to compile whatever I feel would be useful or funny or maybe just random. Enjoy!

Postpartum anxiety and postpartum depression are more common than people think.  I never in a million years thought I would end up with both.  Join me as I share my struggles, my journey to recovery, and resources I think are important.

Self care has become a huge part of my journey.  You know that old saying “you can’t pour from an empty cup?” Well, that was me, trying to pour on empty.  Learn how I’ve changed my perspective from putting myself last to putting myself first in order to be the best mom and wife I can be.

Having a family has been the greatest and more difficult thing I’ve done in my life. Learn about our pack, our values, and how I (try) to keep it all together. Plus, find out about our recent adventures, toys we love, and how I’ve learned to let go of the need for constant schedules and embrace spontaneity.

HI, I'M KRISTIN!

I AM A MOM TO 3 ADVENTUROUS BOYS AND WIFE TO THE BEST HUSBAND IN THE WORLD. JOIN US AS WE DEDICATE OUR TIME TO BEING TOGETHER, FINDING ADVENTURE, AND MAKING THE BEST OF LIFE DESPITE MY STRUGGLES WITH PPD/PPA AND ADHD .
